International Appeal to Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa: Free Dr Jackie Stone

Dr Jackie Stone saved lives in Zimbabwe, Africa and the world. Now she faces jail in Zimbabwe. When nobody else had many answers about C19 treatment, Dr Stone shared hope and her experience of what worked to save both lives and livelihoods.

Not one patient complained about Dr Stone’s care during C19, but nobody was asked to share their incredible stories about how her simple, cost effective and innovative combination treatment saved their lives or the lives of people they care for.

For daring to save lives, Dr Stone is being persecuted. Unless we speak up, she will be sentenced Thursday 3rd November. The Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) are pushing for a custodial sentence (jail) to act as a “deterrent”. This is inhumane and unjust.

Jackie Stone is African. Having lives in South Africa and Zimbabwe, she loves this beautiful continent with all her heart. She is one of us who speaks out about protecting and building our home, Africa. The name Zimbabwe is derived from Shona, dzimba dzemabwe, meaning houses of stone. Jackie Stone is ours.
